Not All Quotes are Inspirational

You may be asking why I made the choice of putting as the title that not all quotes are inspirational and the reason for that is that if you think about it not all quotes push you to keep trying, but some give you a message that warns you. By warns you I mean it lets you see life in a different way and that you should take advantage of it and not waste time. Some quotes tell you to take advantage of the opportunities you have in life because you may not have another opportunity to do it again. This can apply to anything that a person does in life like at school, work, etc.
A quote that can demonstrate this would be a quote by Jim Rohn, "Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time." From reading this quote we can pretty much see that it is self explanatory. I agree with the quote because money comes and goes, but time doesn't and the time that you waste you will never get it back. An example that this quote reminds me of is something that I used to do all the time, but now I'm trying to change. I used to say that today I will rest and I'll do this tomorrow. Something that I didn't think about was that I didn't know what I will be doing tomorrow and if I was going to have time to do what I was leaving for tomorrow. In reality what I was doing is building up more work for myself. I think that every individual should take care of their time wisely and take every single second into consideration and to advantage.
Quotes can say many things, but at the same time teach you a valuable lesson that will help you in many ways. The quote I mentioned above is one of the many quotes that give you a good and helpful message, but just imagine how many of those types of questions are in the world. If you guys have any quotes please tell me about them because it will be really helpful. Hopefully by next time I could find a link that shows how many quotes like this one there are.

Leslie,

Very good blog, its true most quotes aren't positive but there's a deeper meaning into them, when they are truly analyzed and taken into consideration. One of my favorite quotes although its in spanish is
"Vibras positivas" it helps me when Im stressed out scared, pressure, tired, or anything in between it helps me understand that things are going to get better. You might look for spanish
quotes and then translate them, the foreign ones have a deeper meaning at times.

great work,
leslie

Hey There Leslie,

I just finished reading your blog and i have to disagree. I believe that most of the quotes are uplifting and inspiring. That is why they become quotes, so we can learn from them and have a certain view point . Having that said, quotes are generally written to cheer up to mind because what would then be the purpose if it is negative. However, I do acknowledge that not all quotes are negative, i have to say that more quotes are positive than negative.

Overall, great job and keep doing the good work. ;)
