Cool Quotes are not only considered to be positive. There are cool quotes that help people become a better person, take action, and makes a person see things in a different way. There are many quotes out there that we rarelly hear of and are said by people that really believed in what those quotes meant to them. These people did not only write these quotes for themselves, but also for the audience that reads them and it has a meaning to them.
One of these quotes is by Mahatma Gandi that stated,"Action expresses priorities." To me this means that a person has the right to do what he or she wants to do without an explanation. Gandhi was leader that fought for the independence of India. He did many things through action that made him free India. For example, Indians couldn't walk around in the streets without a ticket. Gandhi disagreed with that law and he gather people where he started burning those tickets. Gandhi was badly beaten for that, but that did not stop him from freeing India.
Cool quotes makes a person see that they can't give up if a person is in a bad or good situation. If a person is in a bad situation they can achieve and if they are in a good situation they can achieve even more. There are millions and millions of quotes out there and not all belong in the same topic. If any one has any suggestions of quotes tell me so that I can get ideas of what are some of the other quotes out there. Cool quotes are different things to different people.

I do undertand that quotes come from very influential people and cool quotes simply undoublty come from famous people. As I read your blog, I noticed that you mentioned that quotes serve to make people become a better person or change an individual's perspectives. From this I understood that whenever I read a cool quote, one way or another I am going to be affected by in whether if it is directlly or subliminally. I also understood that through the works that a great person has achieve and comment upon can really influence our quotidian afflictions or events in our lives. Meaning that if I am struggling in-I don't know maybe- pornography addiction or a drug addiction I can redeem mysekf with a very inspirational quote said by someone who perhaps was at the stage of life in which I am undertaking.
I overall agree on everything you said in your blog about how powerful and how influential a quote can get. However, the thing taht I do not agree is the fact that these famous people didn't write these quotes themselves, but other people who acknowledge their work. Overall great :)

well as you know i am Hugo. Well your blog was very tought out. I like that you use Ghandi. I never saw quotes like a type of way of showing courage.This is very interesting. Instead of fighting and showing strongness quotes could be stronger.

Great blog and it was a great idea to give a little background information on the author and how the quote relates to an experience he had. You might want to go in depth next time with a quot and explain things such as how other people might choose it what not, but very good blog.

I read your blog and i liked the way you started by saying what cool quotes could do. Also, i liked the way put your own thoughts about the quote because this gives the reader an idea of what the quote really means. I think that your blog was very good in explaining the quote.
By the way, in my blog i was talking about a dirty, hungry dog as an example for pathos. I was basically asking what it will make you feel to see a dirty, hungry dog in a picture. I just got this idea because i saw my dog and my mom was cleaning stuff and i couldn't think of a better example so yea. Another example could be like instead of a dog it could be a picture of a hungry little kid next to a picture of a rich kid. This could apply to pathos because the hungry kid could make you feel sad.

I enjoyed your blog and I aslo agree with you. In my opinion every qoute has a diferent meaning and purpose. I also agree that some qoutes have different effects in every individual.

The thing I like about Ghandi is that, his quotes have so much meaning behind it for so many different people. To someone, his sayings may be hope and to another it may be hard work.
ghandi's quotes are very general in my perspective, just becuase whenevr you hear something he says, there are multiple definitions.

i agree with you when toy say that cool quotes make you become a better person. the reason is because there are some people who have had a life of evil and when they read a passage from the bible they were transformed. i am not meaning that everyone can open the bible and be a better person. i am saying that there are quotes so powerful that it can change someone who needs to be changed.
the quote that you chose is true because if you do something that shows that it was your number one priority. if you put things aside, it shows that it really isn't that important to you.
