Quotes can fall into many categories by topic, author or type of author. Quotes that are categorized by topic have only 40 types of different topics. If we talk about quotes categorized into author's or type of author's there are to many. People can write quotes about pretty much everything that we can think of. There are quotes about time, war, humor, and imagination only to name a few.
An example of a quote about time is by William Penn,"Time is what we want, but what we use worst." Another type of quote is about war which is,"If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?" by Joan Baez. Many of these quotes make you think and to me these quotes I just specifically stated are true and sad. A lot and I would say pretty much all quotes that we see and hear have different types of emotion in them which I would say it is the reason why some are really appealing to us.
An example of a humorous quote is,"Humor brings insight and tolerance. Irony brings a deeper and less friendly understanding," by Agnes Reppepplier. An example of and imagination quote is, "There are no rules of architecture for a castle in the clouds," by Gilbert K. Chesterton. Quotes in different topics can make you feel down and other up and relaxed. For example, the qoute is the previous paragraph are more down than the quotes above which make you feel better.Quotes are many things and that to me it is amazing because I never knew that before and now I know what quotes can do.
